Synopsis FoundationIP is one of three software systems offered by CPA Global. Originally developed by the law firm of Schwegman Lundberg & Woessner, P.A.. in 2003, FoundationIP was purchased by CPA Global in 2005. FoundationIP's strength is in patent prosecution, particularly with attorney-client collaboration for application drafting and docketing. FIP also offers modules for Invention Disclosure, Billings and other General Matters. FoundationIP supports trademarks and other IP types. An important component of FoundationIP is the interface to CPA Global's services, including annuity and docketing services. Market presence has been primarily U.S. focused, although CPA Global has introduced the FoundationIP product in to European and Asia-Pacific markets as of 2008. FoundationIP is offered an SaaS-only model. FoundationIP is offered to both corporate law departments and law firms.
